Slim Thug Clears the Air: “I Ain’t Stalking Megan, Quit Playing With Me”
Slim Thug is not here for the internet rumors, and he made that real clear over the weekend.
After chatter started spreading that the Houston rapper was “stalking” Megan Thee Stallion following her new relationship with NBA star Klay Thompson, Slim took to social media and let folks have it—uncut and unfiltered.
Let’s rewind a little. Slim Thug has always shown love to Megan, even saying he had a lil’ crush on her. But after Megan gifted Klay a $300,000 Audemars Piguet watch—yes, that kind of money—people on social media started saying Slim was bitter and acting pressed.
That’s when Slim decided to shut all that down.
“I never, on my kids, tried to talk to Megan,” he said in a heated video. “I hyped her up because she’s the queen of Houston—right up there with Beyoncé. I never wanted to buy her no gifts or chase her like that.”
He also addressed comments he made earlier about not wanting to be in a relationship where a woman is spoiling him with expensive gifts. Slim said, “I can’t afford to buy no gifts like that back. Klay got NBA money—he can match that. Me? I know my lane.”
But it wasn’t just about the gift. What really got under his skin were the “stalker” accusations. Slim reminded everybody that Megan had invited him to be in her music video and called on him to perform at her Houston show.
“If I’m stalking her, why she calling me to be in her video? Why she inviting me to perform? Y’all sound stupid,” he fired back. “That’s somebody I got love for. I’m happy for her and Klay.”
This all stems from Megan’s playful moment at Coachella earlier this year. She had danced to Slim Thug’s songs and told the crowd, “No, Slim Thug, this don’t mean I want you. I just like your music, babe.”
Slim responded back then with some laughing emojis and kept it playful. But after folks kept pushing the “he’s obsessed” narrative, he had enough.
At the end of the day, Slim Thug wants the world to know: there’s no beef, no bitterness, and definitely no stalking. He’s just showing love to another Houston legend—nothing more, nothing less.
