Adrien Broner Claps Back at Jake Paul Rumors: “I’ll Knock Him Out”
Adrien Broner isn’t here for the internet games—and definitely not the Jake Paul talk.
After weeks of online whispers and fan speculation linking him to a potential fight with YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul, Broner finally broke his silence—and he did not hold back.
In a video shared by Boxing Kingdom, the former four-division world champ made it clear he’s not playing when it comes to his name.
“With all that playing you doing on the internet with this me and Jake Paul sh*t… Jake Paul, I’ll knock you out,” Broner said with no hesitation. “All this playing you keep doing, I’ll knock him out, bro.”
The fire in Broner’s voice says it all—he doesn’t appreciate the rumors, and if a fight was to happen, he’s more than ready to bring the smoke.
Broner last stepped in the ring in June 2024, fighting Blair “The Flair” Cobbs on a Don King card in Miami. That bout didn’t go his way—he lost by unanimous decision—and fans started questioning what was next for the once-electric fighter. Cue the internet rumor mill, which started pairing Broner with Jake Paul in hypothetical matchups.
But Broner claims he hadn’t heard a word from Paul’s team, and he’s annoyed his name is being thrown around like clickbait. And while nothing official has been announced, the back-and-forth has fans wondering: Could a Paul vs. Broner fight actually happen?
Size could be the biggest issue. Jake Paul has consistently weighed in close to 200 pounds—his last fight against Julio César Chávez Jr. was at cruiserweight. Broner, on the other hand, fought Cobbs at 146 pounds. That’s more than a 50-pound difference.
Still, this is boxing in 2025—where anything goes. Jake has already hinted at an exhibition match with Gervonta “Tank” Davis, who’s even smaller than Broner. And with Paul’s taste for high-drama matchups and Broner’s flair for trash talk and attention, the energy between them could sell a fight, size difference or not.
Broner has always been a lightning rod in the boxing world—flawed but entertaining, unpredictable but compelling.
Whether or not this rumored clash becomes reality, his message was loud and clear: don’t speak on his name unless you’re really ready to fight.
One thing’s for sure—if Jake Paul does decide to respond, he better be ready for Broner to fire right back.
