New MGK Song Will Be ESPN’s Anthem for 25/26 College Football

ESPN unveiled its official song for the 2025 college football season, “Don’t Wait Run Fast,” by rapper Machine Gun Kelly. The track was debuted on The Pat McAfee Show and will be used as the anthem for ESPN’s college football coverage. MGK revealed that he wrote the song after performing at the Kansas City Chiefs’ post-Super Bowl party. Additionally, ESPN released its 2025 SEC football anthem, “Backup Plan,” featuring Luke Combs and Bailey Zimmerman. The anthems will be played during ESPN’s coverage of college football games, signaling the upcoming season.
