Three Men Charged After Two Drive-By Shootings

CLARKSVILLE, Ind. — Three men were charged after two different drive-by shootings on the south side of Indiana.
18-year-old Ja’Ray Coleman, 19-year-old Jalen Belser, and 21-year-old Quendarius Belser were all arrested earlier this week. The men are facing charges of attempted murder and criminal recklessness.
Police say the two shootings were targeted attacks against one person. The first shooting happened on November 10th after 3:15 p.m. last year at the Kopp Lane Food Mart. The second shooting happened on March 26th this year at a Rally’s restaurant near Greentree Mal, where the intended target was hit.
No one was seriously hurt, but bullets struck apartments behind the food mart, as well as a vehicle. Clarksville Police Detectives say the men knew each other. Jalen and Quendarius are brothers.
