According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a man was found dead with gunshot wounds inside a Jeep on the east side of Indianapolis Thursday afternoon.

INDIANAPOLIS — According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, a man was found dead with gunshot wounds inside a Jeep on the east side of Indianapolis Thursday afternoon.

At around 4 p.m., police and medics were called to Decamp Drive. That’s not far from the intersection of East 38th Street and North Post Road.

Police are investigating the incident.
