An Iowa resident had to learn a lesson the hard way when trying to bail a friend out of jail.  The “Quad-City Times’ reports that the man arrived at the Scott county Courthouse and the clerk $300.

Unfortunately for the man, it didn’t take the clerk long to determine that one of the bills was a fake.  The 35yr old mand eventually admitted that he made counterfeit money at his home, and authorities wound up finding a printer, paper and a scanner at his house.

The man has been charged with forger, which could land him behind bars for up to five years.

Just dumb!!
