VIDEO: Betty White Reps For Jay-Z In "SNL" Promos

Betty White shouts out her Marcy Projects homie Jay-Z (or Jays as she calls him) in the new hilarious promo clips for “Saturday Night Live.” The 88-year-old actress will host and Jay-Z will perform for the third time on this weekend’s show, as we reported last month here.

And if we’re lucky, we may even see the two appear together in a sketch.

Before hinting to that collabo though, executive producer Lorne Michaels told Entertainment Weekly about booking the odd couple,

“We thought, ‘This is an interesting mix.’ Jay-Z was excited about the idea of working with Betty White—further proof that her influence is pervasive and enormous.”

As it turns out, White is also a fan of the Brooklyn MC,

“I’m thrilled to meet him. I was thrilled to hear that he’s going to be on the show because he’s the hottest thing since sliced bread. I will certainly enjoy him. I hope that we get along well.”
