It’s a celebration this Wednesday in the Jackson’s hometown of Gary, IN.  Mayor Rudy Clay announced plans to build a new facility called the Jackson Family Center.

According to the “Gary Post Tribune,” the large center will be funded completely by donations instead of tax payer dollars.  It’s expected to cost $300M and will take about 3-5yrs to build.

Some aren’t too happy about the new facility like Michael Jackson’s estate lawyers; they’ve already stepped in to say it won’t happen with out their consent.  Lawyer Howard Weitzman says, “The Estate of Michael Jackson was never consulted about it, nor is it involved in the Jackson’s Family museum being proposed in Gary.”
