Virginia is expected to open the largest immigrant detainee center in the region soon.  The “Washington Post” reports that a privately run center in the south central part of the Old Dominion will house nearly 600 people at a time and could hold more than a thousand detainees over the course of a year.

The state hopes the facility in the Prince Edward County town of Farmville will help them get a handle on a growing number of illegal immigrants who have been charged with crimes.

OMG, is this too much or what?
