Authorities have arrested a woman in Wisconsin after she reportedly jumped another woman in a hospital after she had given birth.
According to published reports, Kimball Lewis was in the maternity ward at Sinai Hospital, when she was attacked by Shava Wade and three other females, one day after delivering her baby boy who was fathered by the same man who has three children by Wade.
Police state that the altercation was a result of a heated exchange that initially took place on Facebook, where Lewis reportedly wrote:
“After I have this baby, I am going to kick your door in.”
In an effort to beat her to the punch, Wade went to the hospital and used a fake name to gain access to Lewis to beat her up.
After closing the door behind them, Wade attacked Lewis, hitting her in the head as Lewis fought back and was able to yell to nurses for help.
According to the criminal complaint against her, Wade admitted,
“It was a poor place to choose a fight.”
A spokeswoman for Aurora Hospitals said they have a visitor policy, but in this case they didn’t ask the suspect for ID and they often don’t.
Wade is facing two misdemeanor charges, including disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to a medical facility in connection with the attack.
