The 2011 Juno Awards will be led by one of Canada’s biggest musical acts.  AllHipHop.com is reporting that Drake has been tapped to host next year’s ceremony.  The 24-year-old emcee says he’s “beyond honored” to serve as next year’s host, adding, quote, “I want to bring a youthful energy to the show and encourage people to be excited about what Canadian music has to offer.”  While this will be Drake’s first time hosting the Juno Awards, he is no stranger to the ceremony.  He won two awards at this year’s show, as he walked away with Best New Artist and Best Rap Recording of the Year.  Nominations for the 2011 Juno Awards will be announced on February 1st, with the ceremony taking place March 27th at Toronto’s Air Canada Centre.

Drake received some more good award show news earlier this week when he was nominated for multiple Grammy Awards.  The rapper is up for a total of four awards, including Best New Artist and Best Male Rap Solo Performance.
