Fergie will again be ringing in the New Year with Dick Clark and Ryan Seacrest. The Black Eyed Peas singer has been tapped to host the West Coast Hollywood portion of “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2011.” It marks the second straight year that Fergie will anchor the star-studded New Year’s Eve celebration which will include performances from Drake, Jennifer Hudson, Ne-Yo, Avril Lavigne, Willow Smith, Jason DeRulo, Natasha Bedingfield, the band Train and others. Airing on ABC, the show will include three-and-a-half hours of performances from both Los Angeles and New York City where Ryan Seacrest will host the festivities.
Seacrest was brought in to host the time-honored New Year’s Eve countdown in 2004 after legendary announcer and longtime host Dick Clark suffered a stroke. Clark continues to make appearances on the show, but in limited capacity.
