The wait is almost over for Jennifer Hudson’s sophomore effort.  The Academy Award winner announced on Thursday that she will be releasing her next album, “I Remember Me,” on March 22nd.  The record’s first single, “Where You At,” is set to arrive at radio on January 24th.  Hudson says she’s eager to release “I Remember Me,” telling Billboard.com, quote, “I’m excited about this album because it’s almost like a renewal for me, reflected through the chapters of my life.”  The R&B star goes on to discuss the title of her record, saying, quote, “I’ve called it ‘I Remember Me’ because of the journey I’ve been on.” 

“I Remember Me” will feature writing from artists like Alicia Keys, R. Kelly, Swizz Beatz, and Ne-Yo.  Fans can currently pre-order the album by visiting Hudson’s website, JenniferHudson.com.  The album follows Hudson’s 2008 self-titled debut, which has sold more than 820-thousand copies in the U.S.
