Reports are now stating that Elin Nordegren, the wife of golf superstar Tiger Woods is asking for $750 million dollars (Sh58 billion) from Woods as part of their divorce settlement.
Additionally, she wants full custody of the kids and will not agree to a confidentiality clause. The confidentiality clause would prevent her from ever writing a book or doing interviews about the break-up.
Sources say that the divorce negotiations “have turned extremely testy” and that the couple is no longer speaking. Elin has spent most of her time away from Tiger lately. She took the kids to Sweden while he was playing golf in a tournament.
What’s most shocking about the amount that Nordegren is allegedly requesting from Tiger is that Tiger’s entire fortune is only worth $600 million, according to the 2009 estimates of Forbes Magazine.
It is highly unlikely that Elin will get the entire $750 million she requests (which would require Tiger to keep playing golf for another few years to make his required payments), but when you ask for $750 million, that makes $200 million look quite reasonable. That’s quite a nice take for a few years of marriage.
Meanwhile, Tiger Woods was spotted with a blond. The two were seen on the golf course of Woods’ gated Florida community. As Woods practiced his golf game, a blond woman sat in a golf cart beside him. Woods and the blond were reportedly laughing and having a good time.
CD Insight calls her a “young, fair-haired stunner,” who apparently bears an uncanny resemblance to Woods’ estranged wife, Nordegren. Woods and Nordegren have agreed to end attempts to fix their marriage and the professional golfer has been keeping a low profile.
