It’s been a while since I’ve since this rapper “Livin It Up”, but yet he’s set to stand trial later this summer according to the New York Post.
A Supreme Court Judge denied Ja-Rule’s request for a pretrial hearing to challenge the science that investigators used to link Ja to the gun through DNA.
Ja wasn’t in court Tuesday because he’s shooting a movie in LA, but his lawyer says that he has a busy summer and it could get in the way of an August trial; “He’s performing for the U.S.O. in Iraq for 2 weeks in July and won’t be back until the 25th. Ja’s court date is set for August 18th.
If you don’t remember, Ja was arrested on gun charges in 07 following a concert in NY. Look for his next CD “Venni Vetti Vecci 2010 to be released sometime this year.
