Dr. Dre caught the attention of fans earlier this week when his Jay-Z collaboration “Under Pressure” leaked online.  On Thursday, Dre discussed the track on Interscope’s website saying the version floating around the Internet is nowhere near finished.  He explains, quote, “I want to set the record straight for everybody who’s been waiting to hear my music.  The song that’s out on the Internet is an incomplete song that I’m still working on.  When it’s ready, you’ll be hearing it from me.”  “Under Pressure” will be featured on Dr Dre’s highly-anticipated “Detox” album.  The album has been in the works for years, and earlier this year Dre revealed that he hopes to have “Detox” in stores by the end of 2010.

Dr. Dre’s last release was 1999’s “The Chronic 2001.”  The album produced the hits “Still D.R.E.,” “Forgot About Dre,” and “The Next Episode” on its way to selling more than seven-million copies in the U.S.
