T.I. is taking a few moments to thank his fans for their continued support during this difficult time.  In a new letter posted on his website, TrapMuzik.com, Tip assures his followers that his time behind bars will only make him better.  He writes, quote, “It doesn’t matter how long it’ll be before the next time you see me.  What matters is that I’ll be a better man before that time comes.  The longer I sit, the smarter I get.”  T.I. goes on to say that he is staying positive about his situation, and is focused on being a better father, husband and son while continuing to provide a positive influence through music.  T.I. closes his letter by announcing that he will be revealing a title for his next album sooner rather than later.  He adds, quote, “Thanks again for all your understanding, love and support.  Y’all take it light and be eazy.”

On Tuesday, T.I. released his seventh studio record “No Mercy.”  He is currently serving an eleven-month sentence in an Arkansas federal prison for a probation violation.  T.I. was arrested in September after Los Angeles police found the drug ecstasy in his car.  He was on probation at the time for trying to illegally purchase firearms in 2007.
