Flava Flav is going from Public Enemy to Midwestern fry cook.  The rapper turned VH1 reality TV star just opened a fried chicken joint in Clinton, Iowa Monday.  It’s the first of what Flav predicts will be a chain of hundreds of Flav’s Fried Chicken locations.  The rap star wore his signature oversized clock around his neck as he served his first customers Monday.  He told the “Clinton Herald” the restaurant, which he’s calling “FFC,” was inspired by the wings he used to serve at Mama Cimino restaurant in Las Vegas.  Dominica “Mama” Cimino’s son is even his business partner in the venture.  Flav, who has a culinary degree, claims he’s prepared to work the fryer to help FFC expand beyond the 26-thousand-person town of Clinton.  He even had a YouTube message for the competition, saying, quote, “Colonel Sanders, you better watch out.”
