I had the pleasure in checking out “Lebron Jordan Kobe” by Moss Da Beast. If I had one word to describe the album overall it would definitely have to be “ENERGY.” For those people hittin’ the gym, this album’s for you! The three tracks I encourage you to listen to are “Turbo,” “Gasolean,” and “I Ain’t Ask To Be A Thug.” “I Ain’t Ask To Be A Thug” is going to be the first to have a video for your viewing AND listening pleasure. In my opinion, the delivery and lyrical content with the album weren’t as strong as I would’ve liked, but I could certainly groove to it. The music definitely has that energy that many of us need on a daily basis to keep us going. When speaking with Moss about the album, he states, “My normal content is soulful, but I had to feed the streets on this one, which is something I haven’t done on my previous projects too much.” Moss also goes to share that he wanted to provide a soundtrack for athletes and motivated people; energy music. So for the fans out there, I’m sure you’ll still rock with this, but expect something different, new, and fresh from Moss this time around. Either way, it’s a good listen!
