League sources have told Yahoo Sports that the Brooklyn Nets and our Indiana Pacers are interested in trading for Lance Stephenson, who signed a 3 year deal with Michael Jordan’s Charlotte Hornets for $27M just this Summer.
The Hornets and Lance Stephenson haven’t meshed well largely due to his inability to coexist with Charlotte point guard Kemba Walker.
Indiana hasn’t ruled out the possibility of bringing back Stephenson, but appears unwilling to seriously engage the Hornets without the inclusion of a first-round pick in a potential deal. I trade involving Lance Stephenson could happen as soon as Monday.
