The murder of Chinx has shocked the hip-hop community, but his loved ones are the ones really feeling his loss.
Funeral services for the Coke Boyz rapper, whose real name is Lionel Pickens, were held in Queens, New York earlier today, where friends, family, and fans gathered to say their goodbyes as he was laid to rest.
The services were held in Greater Allen Cathedral, where tons of fans showed their support outside of the venue by wearing “Long Live Chinx” shirts.
He captioned the photo of them together:
Always smiling even when it’s hard, just like his father! This home of ours ain’t perfect, but rest in peace in your perfect home now, my brother. Sometimes life hurts more than death when you lose a loved one. Terrible to love something that death can touch. #ripchinx #realone
We send our condolences to all of those effected by this tragedy, and pray for his family during this tough time.
