Mick Jenkins and Kaytranada are a force to be reckoned with.
After dropping “P’s & Q’s” and “Your Love,” Mick and Kaytranada return with the release of “The Artful Dodger.”
Sampling the group BADBADNOTGOOD, Mick raps, “N*ggas rolling like some cheapskates/ I see kids talking work with empty briefcase/ We put the beef on the buzz and call it sweepstakes /Then roll a joint like a n*gga need a knee brace.”
As a follow-up to his acclaimed mixtapes The Water[s] and The Wave[s], Mick’s preparing to release a debut full length LP. His forthcoming debut album, [T]he [H]ealing [C]omponent, is scheduled to drop sometime this year.
